Dr Lee graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London school of Medicine (UK) in 2003, for which she attained distinctions in Surgery as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, and was a finalist in the University Gold Medal Examination. She trained in internal medicine at Barts and the London NHS Trust and obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2006. Following this, she embarked on her Endocrine training in Singapore and was accredited as a Specialist in Endocrinology by the Ministry of Health in 2011.
She was later awarded the Health manpower Development Plan Scholarship by the Ministry of Health to train in reproductive endocrinology at the University College Hospital (London) and KK Hospital (Singapore). Upon her return, she set up the reproductive endocrine service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Dr Lee is passionate about teaching and received the best teacher award from 2015-2017, and was the associate program director of the endocrine residency program at KTPH. She served as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Medicine at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and is currently a committee member of the Chapter of Endocrinologists (Academy of Medicine Singapore) and a board member in clinical capacity of ADVANTAGE Endocrine Centre (India).
She has great interest in managing diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis and reproductive endocrine disorders. She also manages all other aspects of endocrinology including pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, lipid disorders and calcium disorders.
